Academician and Best Selling Author

Wrote 12 books on economic and social issues including three in Marathi. His recently published book in Marathi is - “Bhayshunya Chitta Jeth…Ravindranathanchya Pratinidhik 151 Kavita” which brings out the melodies and emotional intricacies of Poems of Nobel Laurel Gurudev Ravindranath Tagore. A biographical novel written in both Marathi and English, has been a runaway best seller with combined sales exceeding 4,00,000 copies, which has also been translated in to 17 languages (French, Spanish, Korean, Thai ,as well as in most major Indian languages. The book has received several awards including the coveted Sahitya Academy Award for Punjabi Version. The book is now being translated into Japanese, Chinese, and several European languages).

In addition, authored about dozen of official reports, over 100 research papers/articles besides serving on a number of committees. Also delivered a series of Memorial Lectures/Key Note Addresses in national and international fora.
