    Dr. Narendra Jadhav was the Vice Chancellor of the University of Pune, which is a premier institution of higher education in India and the largest traditional University in the world with 6,50,000 students, 536 affiliated Graduate Colleges and 330 Recognized Institutes.

  • In the above-mentioned roles steered a team of about 120 economists to thrive to reach the highest professional standards in terms of economic analysis and communication so as to serve as the economic think-tank of the Reserve Bank of India. In this capacity also played the role of lead author and principal editor for most of the Reserve Bank’s economic publications. In addition, acted as the chief economic advisers to the highest level executives of the Reserve Bank, served in various capacities in the official committees set up by the Government, the Reserve Bank and other official organizations, represented the country in international meetings and conferences on economic and financial issues and acted as the key spokesperson in the interaction with the international agencies and market players with the objective of dissemination of information and the Reserve Bank of India’s official viewpoints on important economic issues.
